While you and I were stuffing our pie holes with turkey and dressing, your Treasurer, Ron Pedersen was running around town paying for our rooms at the Garden & Arts Center, sending in the insurance to keep us covered, keeping our USPS mail box for another year, taking care of our responsibilities with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (Sale Tax) and of course let’s not forget IRS reporting. His partner, James ‘Jim’ Harris (aka the cookie man) is calling me about what he is seeing on our Facebook, Web Page & Newsletters as well as a regular at your board meetings. Thanks to all who made 2019 a fun year at the South Plains Woodturners. re we will periodically post testimonies of folks that have been blessed by woodturners, programs, and facilities.
Thank you to Ed Spence and Toni Farrell for all you do at the meetings to get the magazine cover quality photos of our work. Ed has been at every meeting that I can remember and doing our newsletter & photography for 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Hall of Honor for the 2018 Club Newsletter -- Right photo, Ed says to Toni, “Can you stop making those birdhouses swing around….” Thank you Ed.
If you have a Kudo, please take a photo and send to Michael the editor and we can put it here.
